Abstract:- Virtual multiple input multiple output (MIMO) techniques are used for energy efficient communication in wireless sensor networks. We investigate virtual MIMO for fixed and variable rates. We propose energy efficient routing based on virtual MIMO. The simulation results show that virtual MIMO based routing is more energy efficient as compared to SISO (single input single output) for larger distances.
In recent years, virtual MIMO has attracted a growing interest because of its energy efficiency in large field of networks. In virtual MIMO network,a group of sensors cooperate to transmit and receive data. Although the participation of multiple transmitters and receivers in a transmission save significant energy in long-range communications, the increase in the number of transmitters and receivers also increases the circuitry power consumption. As a result, the energy optimization techniques have to be adapted with the environment. Due to the circuitry complexity and difficulty of integrating separate antenna, virtual MIMO concepts are applied in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) for energy efficient communication to save energy and increase reliability.

Abstract:- Sensor networks are commonly used for security and surveillance applications. As sensor nodes have limited battery paower, computing, and storage resources, the energy efficient security techniques are needed. We provide a new heuristic approach to search for balanced and small weight routing spanning trees in a network.
The approach is a modification of Kruskal’s minimum spanning tree (MST) search algorithm and is based on a distributed search by hierarchical clusters. It provides spanning trees with a lower maximum degree, a bigger diameter and can be used for balanced energy consumption routing in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The approach can be implemented in parallel as well as a simple locally distributed
algorithm. Simulations of a realistic scenario WSN are done based on the transmission energy matrix. The simulation results show that the proposed approach can extend the functional lifetime of a WSN in 3-4 times in terms of sensor transmission energy. Possible preliminary clustering of the input network is considered as well.

This paper presents an application of Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System
(ANFIS) control for DC motor speed optimized with swarm collective
intelligence. First, the controller is designed according to Fuzzy rules such
that the systems are fundamentally robust. Secondly, an adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy
controller of the DC motor speed is then designed and simulated; the ANFIS
has the advantage of expert knowledge of the Fuzzy inference system and the
learning capability of neural networks. Finally, the ANFIS is optimized by
Swarm Intelligence. Digital simulation results demonstrate that the deigned
ANFIS-Swarm speed controller realize a good dynamic behavior of the DC
motor, a perfect speed tracking with no overshoot, give better performance
and high robustness than those obtained by the ANFIS alone.

i have been assigned a software of hotel management for my last semester in college
which needs following requirements
=>when a customer call to order food the system checks if the customer is new or existing
IF new(registers new no, address n details)
IF old (by default gets all info on screen)
=> as soon the customer completes his/her order n keeps the phone (a system generated message should be delivered to customer saying his ordered food order)
=>when the delivery boy takes the order for delivery again the customer should get (system generated message of expected time to reach their food order)
=> also this software handles payroll system of employees
=> and purchase of goods by suppliers for hotel[/color]
=> and finally the profit n sold materials for the day
ill b glad if u even send ER diagram along
waiting for reply

Simulators are excellent illustrative tools that provide facets such as hands on experience of a real world system. Such simulators have enormous efficacy in education where critical thinking and decision making skills can be infused with great effectiveness. These simulators allow students to polish various competencies ranging from application to analysis and from synthesis to evaluation. In this project, a simulator is proposed from the area of electronics. The simulator targets junior to senior level electrical engineering students.
Computers and information technology have increased educational opportunities and opened the doors to new instructional methods. Today’s educator and student have adopted technology as a normal part of their curriculum. One common adaptation is for the instructors to create a website or WebCT course folder for their course, which may contain the instructor’s PowerPoint lectures, course handouts, streaming audio/video lectures, and a list of links, which may further aid the student in understanding the material. Interactive learning content revolutionizes the way topics can be traditionally taught. The use of multimedia, rich-graphics, animations, simulations, and virtual environments offer students a way to visualize and actively engage with the content which is otherwise presented to them in a static and passive manner, via textbook and lectures.
This type of new content material is invaluable to disciplines like the engineering and sciences, where visualization coupled to understanding cause and effects of concepts are the heart to mastering the material. Traditional learning materials are not effective resources to support this type of learning, since students repeatedly struggle with the same difficult concepts. Interactive learning content requires a different pedagogical approach from traditional materials. The effective design of interactive learning content includes identifying and utilizing how a technological approach (animation, interactivity, or simulation) can help the student understand the phenomenon, engaging them in active learning environments. This design is then coupled strongly to a usable interface and clear pedagogical goals for the student to grasp. The result is an integration of technology and pedagogy into a new vehicle for teaching: high-quality interactive learning content that is an Interactive Educational Simulator. If a picture is worth a thousand words, and an animation is one thousand pictures, the net worth of simulations and virtual environments is priceless.

It is a known fact that lots of micro-hydro systems are in operation in our country,They have been playing a great role to provide electricity to local communities. But one problem is typically seen in most of the micro-hydro systems. There is fluctuation in frequency generated by the generator which causes adverse affect in various electrical appliances.
A controller is required to solve this problem. We have come up with “Design and Manufacture of Electronics Load Controller” which is meant to construct an ELC (Electronic Load Controller) that controls the frequency of the generated voltage in the micro-hydro systems.
